Print to Post API Functions

Using the Print to Post API is a quick and easy way to automate your printing process. It can also be used to send faxes from another location. This will save you money and back-room personnel time. You can also create custom e-mail applications to send and receive mail.

It is important to note that the Print to Post API does not support setting custom paper sizes. However, you can still upload non-standard document dimensions to the API in native print format.



If you are not sure which end-point to use, you can use the /submit end-point to set all the print job's settings. Then, you can use the /completeUpload end-point to inform Printix that the job has been submitted.


This is not the most comprehensive list of API functions. It is just a collection of functions that will help you find out more about the Print to Post API. However, the best way to find out more is to read the API's documentation.


The API functions can be tested with the GET/ping and GET/noop commands. These functions check your credentials. You can also use the API's logging to help you troubleshoot your submissions.


The X-Child-Account-By-Id header is a strategy to identify Child Accounts. However, it does not recognize Printix Cloud Print API tokens. This will produce a 403 error.

The PDL parameter is a small snippet of code that describes the Page Description Language. A few example values include PCL5 and PostScript.
